About the Conference
This is the third annual Agro Outlook Russia Conference, which has become a prominent event in the calendar of meetings dedicated to medium-term prospects for Russia’s agricultural sector development in the context of global trends. The Conference will feature the presentation of the latest edition of the OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook, as well as other forecasts for the global agricultural markets development, with a focus on Russia. Participants will discuss current and medium-term trends in the sector, emerging in the new economic environment. Major agricultural companies will put forward a strategic vision for their business given the structural changes and uncertainty reigning in the markets. Experts and economists will present forecasts for macroeconomic indicators that over the past years have exerted growing influence on the development of both global and Russian food and agricultural markets. A breakout session will discuss new challenges and opportunities for the Russian agro-industrial exports, which are one of the driving forces of the advancement of the agricultural sector as a whole.
